Broadwater is a resort management company which was founded in Western Australia in 1990.
Broadwater was originally owned by the
Perth based Kareelya Property Group but was later sold by the Kareelya Property Group to the publicly listed Futuris Corporation Limited (ASX code 'FCL') in 2005.
Broadwater was acquired by the Broadwater group's Chief Executive, Scott Cogar, under a management buy-out (MBO) from Futuris Corporation Limited in 2008, while entities associated with Barry Humfrey (owner and founder of prominent Western Australia property and resort developer Humfrey Land Developments) owns the balance of shares in Broadwater.

Broadwater Hotels and Resorts is a resort management company specialising in the development and management of 4 to 5 star resorts, particularly regional and remotely sited resorts across Australia.
Broadwater Hospitality Solutions provides a range of services on a fee-for-service basis, including procurement, recruitment, staff sharing, IT, asset management, sales and distribution, central reservations and other services.
Broadwater Business School is a tri-party collaboration between Broadwater, Southern Cross University and the
Australian
School of Tourism and Hotel Management in
Perth, offering vocational and tertiary level qualifications from diplomas and under-graduate degrees to internationally accredited MBA qualifications.
Broadwater operates a portfolio of unique resorts in popular tourism destinations and key regional centres around Australia, with plans to further expand the Broadwater brand in the Asia Pacific region and United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the medium term.
