Broadwater Hospitality Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company which is better known under its trading name of Broadwater Hotels and Resorts (Broadwater).
Broadwater is a resort management company which was founded in Western Australia in 1990.
In 2005 Broadwater was acquired by the publicly listed Elders Limited (ASX stock code "ELD").
In 2008 Broadwater was acquired from Elders Limited under a management buy-out (MBO) lead by Broadwater CEO, Scott Cogar.
Broadwater owns and operates three related hospitality enterprises:
Broadwater Hotels and Resorts is a resort management company specialising in the development and management of 3.5 to 4.5 star resorts, particularly regional and remotely sited resorts across Australia.
Broadwater Hospitality Solutions provides a range of services on a fee-for-service basis including procurement, recruitment, IT, asset management, sales and distribution, central reservations and other services.
Broadwater Business School is a tri-party collaboration which was established between Broadwater, Southern Cross University and the Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management to offer vocational and tertiary level qualifications to Employees from diplomas and under-graduate degrees to MBA level qualifications.
Broadwater operates a portfolio of unique resorts in popular tourism destinations and key regional centres across Australia, with plans to further expand its presence along the Australian coast in the medium term.
